What about dry cat food?
Probably the cheapest and easiest way to feed your cat is feeding them dry cat food. However, it is not the healthiest way. Many cats will pick at the dry cat food all day long and start to gain more and more weight, and when that happens your cat may develop some kind of illness like feline diabetes, urinary and kidney problems, diarrhea, vomiting and other health issues. Dry food is processed food which doesn’t have much moisture and can cause your cat dehydration if there is not enough water around. If you are going to feed your cat dry cat food then make sure to keep the water bowl full and if you start to notice any changes in your cat’s appetite you should consult with your local vet right away before it gets out of control. We at CatkinsDiet.com recommend a diet that consists of dishing out canned cat food at certain times a day, not keeping dry food around all day long for your cat to pick at. The cans that you pick out should have the first ingredient being some form of meat or fish. But, also be careful with fish because I could have a higher ratio of medals in it.
